Welcome to the website of the playwright Lisa Parry.

Theatres where Lisa’s work has been staged include: Theatre 503, Arcola, Tara Studio and Bridewell in London and The Sherman and Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff. In addition, her work has been performed in Aberystwyth, Cambridge, Cumbria, Edinburgh and Birmingham.

A trained journalist with regional and national experience, Lisa has also worked as a dramaturg and script editor and has had her theatre and audio work performed in the US.

She was recently shortlisted for the King’s Cross New Writing Award and is currently undertaking Sherman Cymru’s advanced writing programme in Cardiff.

Lisa’s poem Casino Girl has been published in the journal Coffee House 20.

Lisa’s short play Fairy Steps will be performed in Salisbury and at other venues across the South by The Bootleg Theatre Company later this year.
