Teaching and Workshops
Lisa Parry is the Royal Literary Fund Fellow at Swansea University.
She leads workshops and discussions on playwriting, dramatic structure, character and writing across different media. She has also spoken on the relationship between theatre and science, including at TEDx in Cardiff, and on the position of women in contemporary British and US theatre.
ADULTS AND YOUNG ADULTS
Lisa has delivered writing workshops for Gladstone’s Library and theatres across Wales, working with adults, young people and emerging writers both in person and virtually.
Workshops have included dramatic structure, character development, playwriting and working across theatre, audio and screen.
SCHOOLS AND YOUNGER WRITERS
Lisa has written work specifically for young performers, including Pandora as part of Theatr Clwyd’s Play in a Fortnight initiative and Boom Boom Boom for Fly High Stories’ 12 Tiny Plays project.
She has worked with children, teenagers and schools in developing creative writing and performance.
